We have to step up cassava planting; there is demand for local and foreign buyers

Spacing of 1 meter, and drip irrigation, fertilization,  regular weeding. Soil must be kept  Moist  kept 4-6 weeks, 

Cassava can be harvested 10 months to 12 months, when there re few leaves at the top.   Some agri practices can shorten this to 6 months.   Yellow variety commands better prices and are heavier.

Ph should be kept at 4-7.    Acidic soil should be mixed with lime.   Overplanted fields must be planted to peanuts.

Harvesting can be done by harvester (costing  $20,000) or just with a flow but can damage the tubers.
