Why farmers leave farming the farm? (why agriculture could be on the decline)

"Food for every ones table and every homes"

The common answers are:

1.  Farming is hard;

2.  You do not earn much in farming and pests and typhoons wipe out the little that you earned;

3.  Young people want the good life:    night life, office work, not dirty and back breaking at the farm

Many have not explained that since food is a necessity and prices are better, there could be millions in farming.   Prices of rice, coffee, chocolate is better.  And there are agriforestry that brings in millions:   bamboo, cassava, sweet potatoes, flowers.  No one is taking the lead, and explaining these to the farmers and young people

In a forum where PBBM was asked this question, (this post doesnt know whether he was still the DA sec,)  he failed to explain fully well the arguments in favor of agriculture

I want agri to be the next trajectory of my life in the next 30 years.   MVP and the rest are pursuing agri as the next big thing
